Sharing of Infrastructure among OSPs has become a necessity in today’s world where international OSP and domestic OSP have to work together with each other. What is sharing of infrastructure in OSPs?

OSPs like call centres, BPOs, KPOs, RPOs make use of a lot of telecommunication resources. Under certain terms and conditions of infrastructural sharing between international and domestic OSPs, infrastructures can be shared.

How to get the ability to share the infrastructure between national and international OSP?

To share the infrastructure with another OSP provider or same OSP and different provider, you need to obtain a written approval from Department of Telecommunication (DOT). This is done after you have filled and signed the agreement form for infrastructure sharing and submitted it at the DOT.
