Eligibility Criteria for AYUSH certificate in India

To obtain an AYUSH manufacturing license, you have to fulfil the following criteria:

1. Own a manufacturing facility, on industrial land.
2. Land must be 1200 square feet for the manufacture of a single product. In case, there are more products manufactured, the land area will increase accordingly.
3. Have a Good Manufacturing Practice Certificate.
4. Have at least 2 Ayurvedic experts and own at least 2 Ayurvedic pharmacists.
5. All machinery and equipment must be installed in the manufacturing facility for production and packaging.

To apply for both AYUSH retail license and wholesale license, fulfil these requirements:

1. The minimum area of the premises should be about 10 square meters if want to apply for any one license from AYUSH retail & wholesale. But in case you are applying for both licenses then a 15 square meter area is required.
2. The height of the premises should be according to the National Building Code 2005.

For AYUSH Loan License, fulfill the following requirements:

1. Any business which is providing the loan must be an AYUSH manufacturing license holder. The manufacturing unit which is getting the loan must be situated on industrial land.
2. The entity which gets a loan must have separate rooms for the storage of raw materials, storage of finished products, and an office to carry out the usual business activities.
3. No requirement for the loan holder to have any pharmacies or Ayurvedic Experts.
4. This license must be renewed at regular intervals.
