Benefits of Vishwakarma Scheme 

The Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma scheme provides the following benefits to artisans and crafts persons:-

• It allows them to get recognition through Vishwakarma certification and ID card. 

• They get a chance to upgrade their skills through basic training of 5-7 days and advanced training of 15 days or more with a stipend of Rs. 500 per day.

• Toolkit incentive to upto Rs. 15,000 in the form of e-vouchers at the beginning of the basic skill training.

• Collateral-free loan of upto Rs. 3 lakhs as an “Enterprise Development Loan” in two parts of Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 2 lakh with tenure of 18 months and 30 months, respectively.

• Amount of Re. 1 per digital transaction, upto a maximum of 100 transactions monthly credit to the beneficiary’s account for each digital pay-out or receipt.

• Marketing support is provided in the form of quality certification, branding, onboarding on e-commerce platforms such as GeM, advertising, publicity and other marketing activities to improve linkage to the value chain.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana Loan Details

The Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme offers collateral-free loans of up to Rs. 3 lakh for the eligible artisans and craftspeople involved in the 18 recognized traditional trades. These loans are disbursed in two installments:- an initial amount of Rs. 1 lakh with a repayment tenure of 18 months, followed by Rs. 2 lakh repayable over 30 months. 

These loans carry a concessional interest rate of 5% with an additional 8% interest subvention offered by the Government of India. Beneficiaries who have successfully completed Basic Training can avail the first loan installment of up to Rs. 1 lakh. 

The second installment is granted to those who have used up the first installment, maintained a proper loan account, implemented digital transactions in their business or have completed Advanced Training under the scheme.

• Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) to enroll via the official Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana portal.

• By selecting ‘CSC - Register Artisans’ option under ‘Login’, the CSC officials will login into the portal.

• After that, complete the mobile verification as well as the e-KYC in the CSC.

• Then, you need to fill out the Artisan Registration Form and then file it on the portal with the help of the CSC officials.

• The CSC officials will also assist you in registering on the Udyam Assist Platform as an MSME entrepreneur.

• Then, wait for your application to get verified and approved. Your application will undergo verification and approval by the Gram Panchayat or ULB, District Implementation Committee and Screening Committee. This step ensures authenticity and eligibility.

• Once your application is approved and you are registered, you must login to the Vishwakarma Scheme portal for Vishwakarma Digital ID and Vishwakarma certificate download.
