FCC Certification Requirements

If you are trying to sell your electronic product on US soil, you need to get the right certification for it. One such license is the FCC certificate. It certifies that the electromagnetic interference that the product is producing is within the right range. However, if you want this certification from India, then you need to adhere to the FCC certification requirements in India.  This testing requirement is the topic we are going to go through in this blog.

The Requirements for FCC Certification:

FCC is a proper standard that establishes the interference allowed. When it comes to the requirements associated with the FCC certification in India, there are only two and these are as followings:

  1. A proper verification to see of the product complies with the FCC requirements: Checking the scale of electromagnetic interference is not something that can be done in a normal lab. Therefore, there is a need to find the right lab to verify that your product is adhering to the requirements. Furthermore, the lab should be accredited with ISO 17025 certification.
  2. The FCC declaration of conformity: The FCC declaration of Conformity is the most important document that is required for the FCC certification process in India to go through properly. This document declares that you are infact fully compliant to the Standards. Now, this declaration can only be filed after the proper tests have been done. Therefore, make sure that you do not falsify the document under any circumstance.

These are the requirement associated with the FCC certification. Now, these might be merely simple documents, but their accurate nature is going to ensure that you get the certification that you need.

If you are completely following the rules of the standard and are ready to apply for the certification, you can get in touch with Registrationwala and we can get started.
