What is Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme?

RYVS full form is Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme. The Telangana government launched this scheme on 15 March 2025. Under the scheme, each youth will receive up to Rs. 4 lakh to help them establish self-employment opportunities. 

The goal of this scheme is to empower youth from SC, ST, BC, and Minority communities. A budget of 6000 crores has been set aside by the State Government to ensure the RYV is implemented smoothly.

Objectives of RYV Scheme;

The goals and objectives of RYVS can be understood as follows:

• The RYVS gives the state's youth opportunities for self-employment.

• It gives the youth three lakh rupees as financial assistance so they can start their own mini-businesses or units.

• This scheme will benefit approx. five lakh youth and support entrepreneurship.

• It will assist the state's young people in creating jobs rather than looking for them.

The features of RYVS scheme of Telangana government are as follows:

• The Telangana State Government’s RYVS comes with a total budget of Rs. 6,000 crore.

•  As per the press release by the state govt, the benefits of the scheme will extend to 5 lakhs youth living in Telangana.

If you meet the following requirements, then you are eligible for the TSOBMMS Rajiv Yuva Vikasam:

• Only permanent residents of Telangana are eligible to apply. 

• The scheme is exclusively for the youth of the state. 

• Applicants must be unemployed to receive the benefits. 

• Youth belonging to SC, ST, BC, MBC, Minority, and Christian Minority communities are eligible to apply. 

Note: The eligible individuals could apply through the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme Telangana Apply Online Link. But now, the application date has passed. It was 14 April 2025. Currently, there is no update on when the application will reopen

The process for TSOBMMS RYVS requires the following steps:

• First, the individuals must check whether they are eligible for the scheme. If they are eligible, they must visit the official telangana OBMMS website to apply for the RYV.

• In the next step,the  applicants should click on the 'Apply Online' link available on the homepage of the Telangana OBMMS. Then, they must then enter their Aadhaar Card number and Food Card number.

• Following this, the application form must be filled out by applicants with the necessary details such as name, address, and mobile number. Applicants should also choose the beneficiary type, sector, and type of financial assistance they are seeking.

• Next, they must upload all the required documents. 

• Finally, they must review the completed application form carefully and click the 'Submit' button to complete the process.

By following all the above steps, the applicants will be able to apply for the scheme.
