HUID full form is Hallmark Unique Identification. It is a 6-digit unique number assigned to hallmarked gold jewellery and artefacts in India. Hallmarking is mandatory for all gold jewellery and artefacts sold in India, and the HUID number became compulsory for all hallmarked gold from April 1, 2023.
