MCA Launches Initiatives to Ease Corporate Filing Compliance

  • 26 Mar 2025

To stop fraudulent filings, MCA21 V3 now uses web-based online forms with built-in checks and auto-fill features. These forms also include field-level validations. In addition, users must go through multifactor authentication to confirm their identity. The system also hides private information to keep data safe and secure.

Digital Initiatives to Improve Services

The Ministry has launched several digital tools to make processes faster, more transparent, and user-friendly. Here are some of them:

  • Centre for Processing Accelerated Corporate Exit (CPACE): A centralized system for quickly processing voluntary closures of Companies/LLPs.

  • Centralized Processing Centre (CPC): A streamlined system that improves the verification of non-STP forms by handling it all in one place instead of multiple locations.

  • MCA Portal Mobile App: This app allows users to easily access services offered on the MCA21 website.

  • Chatbot: A communication tool that lets users resolve their issues through chat or calls.

  • E-Adjudication System: This system enables online processing of cases, increasing efficiency and transparency.

  • MCA21 Portal Feedback: Users can also submit feedback and report problems through the portal.

Growth in Corporate Filings

The number of corporate filings processed through MCA21 has steadily increased, from 6,702,788 in 2020-21 to 8,077,210 in 2023-24. As of February 2025, the number has reached 8,430,731. This data was shared by Shri Harsh Malhotra, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

How These Initiatives Will Help
These digital tools will help businesses by reducing the time and effort needed for filing, improving security, and making processes more transparent. They also make it easier for users to get help and track their issues. By simplifying corporate filings, these measures will ultimately lower the compliance burden and improve the overall experience for all users.
