The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has made an announcement regarding the recruitment drive for the position of Office Attendant, with a total of 572 vacancies available for the Panel Year 2025. The application process for the position has already been commenced.
Candidates who are interested can submit their applications online via the official website of RBI till 4 February, 2026. According to the official notification, selection for the post will be done through an online examination, followed by a Language Proficiency Test.

Monthly Salary After Getting Recruited/Hired :- At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately Rs. 46,029/- per month, as per official RBI notification.

Before applying for the post of RBI office assistant, the candidates must ensure they fulfill the following eligibility criteria :-
The candidates must have completed their 10th grade from a recognized board. It is important to note that candidates who are graduates or those with higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Further, the applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old as of January 1, 2026. For applicants belonging to reserved categories, age relaxation is available as per government regulations.
For eligibility, proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the local language of the respective state / region is also required.
The candidates will undergo a two-stage selection process, i.e., online examination and language proficiency test. :-
Online Examination will be conducted for a total of 90 minutes. It’ll cover the following subjects :-
Reasoning (30 questions/30 marks)
General English (30 questions/30 marks)
General Awareness (30 questions/30 marks)
Numerical Ability (30 questions/30 marks)
Candidates who pass the online examination will be required to take the language proficiency test, which is qualifying in nature.
The application fee for application for office attendant RBI is as follows :-
The application fee for the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Persons with Benchmark Disabilities / Ex-Servicemen is Rs. 50 + GST.
For the General/Other Backward Classes / Economically Weaker Section, the application fee is Rs. 450 + GST.
The applicable application fee must be paid via online mode only.
