The Stree Suraksha Scheme (സ്ത്രീ സുരക്ഷാ പദ്ധതി) is a welfare scheme launched by the Kerala Government to provide Rs. 1,000 aid per month to eligible women and trans women in the state.
Through the scheme, the Kerala Government aims to extend financial support to women who are currently not covered under any other existing welfare pension programmes. The scheme will enable upliftment of economically vulnerable women in Kerala.
The following documents are required for Sthree Suraksha Scheme apply online. Make sure you have all the required documents in place prior to applying for Sthree Suraksha Scheme 2026 to avoid any last minute hassles. :-
Proof of Residency :- You need to submit a document that confirms you are a permanent resident of Kerala.
Proof of Age :- For this, you can submit a birth certificate, school certificate, driving license or passport. In case of unavailability of the mentioned documents, a medical certificate from a doctor, along with a self-attested application, can be submitted.
Bank Account Details :- For this, you must submit IFSC and Aadhaar details along with the application.
Aadhaar Card :- It is mandatory to submit the Aadhaar Card at the time of Sthree Suraksha Padhathi application. On the basis of Aadhaar, beneficiaries of the scheme must undergo annual mustering.
Ration Card :- You also need to submit Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY - Yellow Card) or Priority Household (PHH - Pink Card). It is important to note that if your card is reclassified to Blue or White, you won't be eligible for the scheme.
Self-Attested Affidavit :- Along with the application, a self-attested affidavit must also be submitted.

The scheme is open to women and trans women between the ages of 35 and 60.
The woman/trans woman must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
She must not be a beneficiary of any other existing welfare scheme, including pension for widow, single women, disabled, social welfare pensions, service family pension, pension from welfare fund boards, EPF pension and so on.
She must belong to Antyodaya Anna Yojana (Yellow Ration Card) and Priority Categories (Pink Ration Card). If her card is reclassified to Blue or White, she won't be eligible for the scheme.

Here are the steps involved in the Sthree Sukraksha pension scheme procedure. After fulfillment of all the steps, the beneficiary will be able to get Sthree Suraksha pension. :-
Step 1 :- Visit the official website for the scheme @ ksmart.lsgkerala.gov.in.
Step 2 :- Now, submit a completed application to the secretary of the local self government institution (LSGI) (Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation) through the website.
Step 3 :- After the application is received by the secretary, they will then verify the application and forward the list of chosen beneficiaries to the Kerala Social Security Pension Company.
Step 4 :- Finally, the Social Security Pension Company will transfer the amount directly to the accounts of chosen beneficiaries.
