The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 is a global conference-cum-exhibition for the power and electricity sector. It is set to commence on 19 March and continue till 22 March at Yashoobhoomi, New Delhi. A formal announcement to this effect was made on 15 January 2026 by Shri Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs at New Delhi. He also unveiled the summit’s brochure as well as teaser film.
The four-day summit’s theme is :- Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally. The summit will showcase the leadership of India in the global energy transition while addressing challenges as well as opportunities within the power sector.
The Summit will bring together domestic and international stakeholders like government representatives, industry leaders, academics and civil society to discuss the future of electricity and sustainable energy systems. It aims to facilitate cross sector dialogue and strengthen global cooperation while encouraging strategic partnerships.
The event will feature over 50 high level conference sessions, expert-led panel discussions, thematic pavilions and technology showcases that cover the entire spectrum of the electricity and clean energy value chain. It is expected to host more than 500 exhibitors, welcome over 25,000 attendees and attract more than 1,000 delegates and 300 speakers from India and worldwide.
The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 will serve as a platform to convene global policymakers, CEOs, government leaders, electricity experts, investors, regulators, innovators, suppliers and solution providers.
Through stakeholder engagement and networking, the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 will facilitate discussions that influence progress across the entire electricity value chain, from generation and transmission to distribution, storage and smart consumption.
One key feature of this Summit will be a ‘Buyer-Seller Meet. This feature’s aim is to accelerate partnerships and unlock new business opportunities throughout the global power supply chain. This forum will promote cross border collaborations and mobilize investments to enhance clean electricity deployment.
