BSES Fan Replacement Scheme is a special scheme for domestic electricity consumers. Under this scheme, old and electricity-guzzling ceiling fans can be replaced with new 5-star rated BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) fans at up to 89% discount on the MRP.  The available brands in the offer include Atomberg, Halonix, Adhunik and Kühl. All of these fans are designed to use less electricity and because of this, they help consumers reduce power bills. 

The scheme is available only for existing BRPL domestic consumers. Registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis. It is important to note that consumers can only replace up to three fans under the buy-back scheme, subject to the terms and conditions and the CA number rules mentioned by BRPL. Each BLDC fan can help save up to Rs. 1,118 per year (169 units). The estimated payback period is between 9 to 18 months.
