Want to settle traffic-e challans and wondering when the Lok Adalat will be held in Delhi? Well, to answer your question, the National Lok Adalat in Delhi will be held on 10 January 2026, Saturday, allowing the vehicle owners a one-day window to settle their eligible traffic e-challans.
The Lok Adalat will take place across all the Delhi District Court Complexes and give people an opportunity to resolve their minor traffic violations in a quick manner without having to make repeated visits to the court.

Rouse Avenue Court
Rohini Court
Karkardooma Court
Tis Hazari Court
Saket Court
Dwarka Court
Only individuals who have committed minor traffic offences are eligible for settlements. These include the following :-
Ignoring traffic signs while driving on the road
Missing number plates while driving
Incorrectly issued challans.
Driving without a licence may also be considered in certain minor cases.
Driving without a helmet/seatbelt
Over-speeding
Jumping red lights while driving
Wrong parking
Driving without possessing a valid PUC certificate
Challans from other states, serious/criminal offences and already-pending cases in regular courts are excluded.
The applicants need to visit the official website https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/notice/lokadalat. On the website, they need to select the option for online Lok Adalat application, fill out the form with all the necessary details, upload documents required and then finally submit the application. After this, the applicants will receive a token number via phone or email.
In a day, a maximum of 45,000 Challans/Notices may be downloaded, subject to an overall limit of 1,80,000 Challans/Notices. On the basis of token numbers, the cases are taken up strictly. The applicants must carry all the original vehicle documents along as well as the challan details.
Online registration continues to be the standard process for Lok Adalat Token Registration. Once an applicant is done applying, a token number and appointment letter along with the exact date and time are provided to them.
On the day of hearing, they must bring with them the token, appointment letter and all the relevant documents deemed necessary in their case. In order to avoid long queues, it is recommended to arrive at least an hour prior to the hearing.
