The State Government of Maharashtra is providing free tablets to students who have passed their 10th grade in the current year through a scheme called Mahajyoti Free Tablet Scheme 2026. Along with free tablets, the students will also be provided free internet data. 

The tablets, along with internet data, are intended to help the students in preparing for their JEE, NEET and MHT-CET exams. For the registration, the forms became available from 17 April 2026 onwards. The deadline to apply for this scheme is 30 May 2026, according to the official circular.

Who can Apply for Mahajyoti Tablet Registration 2026?

Those who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility requirements can apply for Mahajyoti Tablet Registration 2026:

• The applicant (student) must be a resident of Maharashtra. 

• Both boys and girls are eligible to apply. 

• The student should belong to the OBC, VJ-A, NT or SBC category. 

• The student must have passed the 10th grade in the current year, i.e., 2026. 

• The student must have enrolled in a Science stream after completing the 10th standard.

• Applicants from urban areas must have a minimum of 70% marks while those belonging to rural areas must have at least 60% marks.

Online Mahajyoti Tab Registration Documents Required

Documents required for Mahajyoti Tab Registration online include the following:

• Aadhaar card (including front and back)

• Domicile Certificate

• Caste Certificate

• Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate

• 10th marksheet

• Admission receipt or bonafide certificate of admission to 11th Science

• Certificate if disabled

• Certificate if orphan

• Any other documents required by govt.

How to Apply for Mahajyoti Free Tablet Yojana?

For Mahajyoti scheme online apply, you need to follow the steps explained below:

Step 1: Visit the official visit for Mahajyoti tablet registration @ mahajyoti.org.in.

Step 2: Once you are on the website, click on the “Notice Board” tab.

Step 3: Now, a page will appear on your screen where you can find the active training applications.

Step 4: Click on the “Application for JEE/NEET/MHT-CET-Batch-2026-28 Training” option.

Step 5: Then, complete the mobile verification and fill out the online form with all the necessary details like personal, educational and caste details.

Step 6: Then, upload all the necessary documents like caste certificate, income certificate, 10th mark sheet, etc.

Step 7: Finally, submit the form. For future reference, keep a copy of the form.
