Union Health Minister Launches Ayushman Sarathi – PM-JAY WhatsApp Chatbot

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, who is the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, launched Ayushman Sarathi Chatbot on 29 June 2026. This chatbot has been developed by National Health Authority of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Ayushman Sarathi aims to provide citizens with easy, secure and 24/7 access to Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana services via the means of WhatsApp. 

The chatbot lets beneficiaries access essential PM-JAY services anytime and anywhere. It eliminates the need to visit government offices or calls to call centers. Ayushman Sarathi delivers real time information and services directly via WhatsApp. It is built on secure API based integrations with PM-JAY systems. 

Ayushman Sarathi: List of Available Services

Ayushman Sarathi provides a wide range of services focused on beneficiaries. These services include:-

  • Eligibility Check for PM-JAY

  • My Ayushman Card

    • Application for Ayushman Card

    • Downloading the Ayushman Card

    • Re-doing eKYC

    • Linking Aadhaar

    • Locking/Unlocking the PM-JAY Card

  • Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card for those aged 70 and above

  • Viewing Wallet Balance

  • Accessing Treatment History

  • Finding Nearby Empanelled Hospitals

  • Registering, Tracking and Withdrawing Grievances

  • Requesting a Callback

  • Providing Feedback on Discharge
