The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has made an announcement regarding the opening of booth bookings for WaveX booths, the exclusive startup showcase zone in Waves Bazaar powered by WaveX at International Film Festival Goa 2025.
The initiative envisions to provide a platform for emerging startups in the AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality) and entertainment sectors and allow them to connect with global industry leaders, investors and production studios.
Scheduled from 20 - 24 November 2025, WAVES Bazaar will be located near Film Bazaar, the prime networking hub of the International Film Festival of India, known for its dynamic participation from filmmakers, producers and media professionals from around the world.
Each booth will be available at a nominal cost of Rs. 30,000 per stall (on a sharing basis). The participating startups will receive several benefits, such as 2 delegate passes, lunch and high tea, an evening networking opportunity and direct visibility among global film, media and tech professionals.

The International Film Festival of India, abbreviated as IFFI, was founded in 1952. It is one of Asia’s most significant film festivals, celebrating excellence in world cinema and serving as a socializing ground for filmmakers, artists and cine enthusiasts.
The event is held annually in Goa. It attracts participation from the global film fraternity and acts as a catalyst for creative collaboration and opportunities. The 56th edition of the IFFI will take place from 20 - 24 November 2025 in Panaji - the capital of Goa.
WaveX is a government-backed national startup accelerator. It is an incubation initiative of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. It is dedicated to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly within the AVGC-XR and media-tech ecosystem.
Through partnerships with top academic institutions, industry professionals and incubation networks, WaveX empowers creators and startups to scale their ventures and make a contribution in India’s growing creative economy.
