Process of EPR for e-Waste

The EPR process for e-waste certificate takes place in the following manner:

1. Registering on e-Waste Portal of CPCB

The applicant must register on the EPR Portal for e-waste. You must state whether you are an electronic waste recycler, manufacturer, producer or refurbisher. After this, you will be required to fill in basic information including your mobile number, email ID, company details, corporate office address, authorized person details, etc. Once done registering as a user, you have to log onto the portal with login credentials.

2. Filing an Application

Once logged onto the portal, you must file an application for EPR registration for e-waste management. You must fill in all the required details in all the required fields correctly to avoid cancellation or delay in the registration process.

3. Submitting Required Documents

Along with your EPR application, you must submit all the required documents on the portal. Make sure the documents are clear and readable. Once you have submitted your application along with all the required documents, the application will be sent to the Central Pollution Control Board.

4. Examination of Application by CPCB
