5th Edition of SEMICON India to be held in September 2026

Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the fifth edition of SEMICON India at Yashbhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre), New Delhi, on 17th September 2026. This will mark another major milestone in the semiconductor journey of India. 

The event will witness the participation of stakeholders from across the global semiconductor ecosystem, leaders from government and industry, industry experts, academia, government officials and students.

About SEMICON India

SEMICON India is India's leading semiconductor conference and exhibition, and is jointly organized by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), the Government of India, and SEMI. It functions as the nation's main platform for gathering together the global semiconductor and electronics community in order to promote collaboration, innovation, manufacturing, investment and the development of talent. 

The event strengthens confidence in the Government of India's progressive policies and programmes. Moreover, it underlines the country's dedication to building a strong, resilient and sustainable semiconductor ecosystem among national and international industry leaders, investors and policymakers among several other stakeholders.

The event supports India's goal of becoming a trusted global hub for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. The fifth edition of the SEMICON India conference and exhibition, with the theme "Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem", will take place from 17th to 19th September 2026 at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi.
