The selected concessionaire will receive two weeks of free training from Mother Dairy prior to the allocation of booths or shops. Remuneration includes up to 9% commission on sales from Safal shops for fruits and vegetables, and 3% for dals. For milk booths, the assured income is either Rs. 15000 or a commission of 30-35 paisa per litre of milk sold (subject to revision over time), along with 5% commission on other dairy products, whichever amount is greater.

To operate a Safal booth/franchise as an ex-serviceman or a dependant, you need to file an application through the official website of the Directorate General of Resettlement. For this, you need to fulfill the following steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Directorate General of Resettlement.
Step 2: Once you are on the homepage, go to the ‘Registration Tab’ and then select ‘Register as New User’ and then click on ‘JCOs/OR’.
Step 3: Now, a new page will appear. Here, enter necessary information like first name, last name, email address, mobile number and password of your choice.
Step 4: Now, click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 5: After successful registration, log in to your account by selecting the ‘login’ option under ‘Registration tab’ on the homepage.
Step 6: Now, on the next page, enter email address and password. Then, enter captcha code and click on ‘login’ button.
Step 7: Thereafter, a form will appear on your screen. You must fill all the necessary details in the form and then upload the relevant documents as asked in the form.
Step 8: Once done filing in the details and uploading necessary documents, you must submit the form to complete the process.
If you are an ex-serviceman or a dependent son, you can operate a safal outlet as long as you fulfill the eligibility requirements and are shortlisted by the Mother Dairy.
